Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

today's history blurb

I think there a typo in today's history blurb. "Word" should probably be "World", or else it doesn't make sense.

The last time I wrote a comment about the history blurbs, it was to say "and how" should be "and wow", but I was wrong about that and learned a new English saying that day. I could be wrong about today's history blurb too
