Heisig Keywords

Dennis   September 6th, 2011 7:51p.m.

Do I understand that with the Heisig keywords when I'm presented with the "name" of a character I should only be presented with its keyword? That is not the keyword hi-lighted along with other meanings?

If that is how it's supposed to work, it doesn't seem to be working for me.

I realize there has been a great deal of discussion about this in the forum, but short of reading every post and then maybe not understanding Heisig, I'm stumped.

We originally had it set up that way, but it was suggested that we make it so that the Heisig keyword shows up in bold with the rest of the Skritter definition appended--a sort of modified Heisig, where you can just pay attention to the keyword if you want, or you can also pay attention to the extra definitions.

It's not how Heisig wants it, but it was a better compromise based on feedback from Skritterers.
