Having a lot of older Chinese relatives i have for a long time heard all of those chengyu they use. It turn out to be rather fun to learn also the story behind them. For this I found an fun site giving a story behind a lot of them. It do lack good search functions ( if you do open a chengyu there is a search function for the site though) but for some fun reading for the moment this works fine.
