not adding to list/very slow

ive noticed that when my list gets to 0, it says its adding or "looking for a word" but nothing happens.

i have to go back to the study page then start studying again for the list to repopulate.

is this a china thing? or just my internet?

have you created additional lists with your vocabulary or imported any words from other sources for your study sessions?

when you get the feedback "looking for a word" this means that the system needs your input, meaning you have to offer new words that you would like to learn.

so try and add a new list or words manually.

i am also in china and it works just fine.

good luck!

I took a look at your account and it looks like you've previously added and studied many of the words in the list you're adding from. Had you studied this list before? Basically every time you add a word, the system starts scanning the list from where you are, and most of the time it finds words that you already know and you don't yet need to study. You can watch it go forward by checking out the progress bar on the list's page. I'm going to be doing some optimization to hopefully speed up this process so it doesn't take as long, but yeah at this point it just takes a long time for things to get done on the server side, has nothing to do with your own connection.
