I studied for about a year off and on and got up to about 450 characters/400 words. One thing led to another and I eventually stopped adding new words and just studied the same words over and over again and eventually towards the end of April I stopped studying altogether and developed a backlog of about 1000 reviews, and then pop on for a little while basically to get a ton of reviews wrong then logout and repeat the process every few days.

Well anyway, I have a renewed focus and am getting a new textbook I was wondering if deleting everything and starting from scratch would be that horrible of an idea?

It's not too horrible, but there are other ways. Rather than using the Delete All feature, how about removing all of your lists and then adding this new textbook? Skritter will remember your progress on the words that overlap, and if you want, you can slowly add back some of your old lists later.

For some reason, I didn't realize that you could just remove them from study, since all I saw was the delete button under my lists. And then I realized, you just hit the X button on the study page. This works out perfectly, thanks!
