How is the remaining percentage in a list calculated?

Edit: Sorry. I just noticed this was answered in a thread from two days ago. So the totals aren't accurate. This does make it
kind of hard to work out how much you have to learn to complete a particular level (HSK3, etc)

Hi,

I signed up for the 2014 character learning challenge and set my totals based on the number of characters Skritter reported I still had to do in HSK 2-4.

However, the totals don't seem quite right. For example, it says I have done 7% of HSK3 and have 280 chars remaining, but if I look through the sections and count all the characters which have "4 greens", it's more like 11%. It seems to only be counting the sections from which it has started adding characters as far as I can guess, and not including the characters from later sections that I already studied as part of the Skritter 101 list.

Is this correct, and if so, is there any way I can get more accurate totals?

Thanks,

Luke.

It only counts up to the last word/character it's added from the list.

So, let's say there were 100 characters on the list, and you already knew #80-#100. It won't count those until you've already gone through #1 through #79.

Going to the "progress" tab shows you how many characters you've already learned in total; otherwise, I think you would just have to count by hand.

Are there any plans to change the way it's is count?
I have exactly the same problem.
I added a lot of characters and words from different lists, and without counting "by hand", I don't know how many words are left in other lists. It's really useful especially for the HSK lists.
