Recently changed my iphone4 for a better nexus 5. Skritter was amazing on ios7. Got hold of the beta trial and I just find it unusable, its slow, clunky and very unclear in the writing... Gutted as wanted to get learning again but now cant. Really hope a smoother version would be released

Also do raw squibs work? I have it turned on but its still setting the strokes for me.

Sorry to hear that you're finding the Android app unusable. Obviously we don't want character writing to ever feel slow, clunky, or unclear! Would it be possible for you to send Josh an email ( josh@skritter.com ) with a bit more details about your experience so we can try and make some improvements?

We'll be working on adding features back into the app as fast as we can code/ test them. Mnemonics, raw squigs, and the audio button will be in an update we're posting later today with more improvements after that!
