colors while drawing raw squids

Bohan   September 4th, 2011 12:03p.m.

I sort of like how it automatically color coordinates while drawing with raw strokes settings on, but I think I'd prefer for all the strokes to be black because I can see the strokes more clearly. A couple of the lighter colors are visible, but not as much as the black strokes.

One thing though, is that when I'm practicing tones, I'd like for the color coordination to continue. Is there a way for me to make all the raw squid strokes black, but have multiple colors for tone practice ?

squigs, not squids. :)

lmao , haha . I've never written the word "squigs" until right now.

I don't want to add another option for it, because that would be a little silly (an option for controlling how two non-default options interact, for just one of the prompt types?). Yet I don't want to get rid of the coloring while drawing with raw squigs on, since when we made that feature it was well-received. And I can't tweak the colors used to something more visible, because we're trying to stick to a semi-established standard.

So although I'd like to help you, in this case, Bohan, I don't see a good way to satisfy that use case. Do you see any good alternatives where we can make the system better for everyone without adding another option?

@Nick hey, it's all good man. Not a big deal at all. I just started using raw squigs and I'm enjoying it. If I don't get used to the color thing, I'll just change my settings to colors-off, and that will be fine too.
