Chinese Reading, switching between tablet and keyboard

sveitser   September 14th, 2011 3:15a.m.

Hi,

I just discovered the Reading feature and think it's a great addition. The only thing that bothers me is that I often need to switch from tablet input (for writing) to the keyboard and back. Would it be possible to group a few (possibly a number the user could choose) reading exercises before showing them to the user, in order to make switching input methods less frequent?

cheers, Matt

In the study page, go to "settings" in the upper right corner and select there. If the load is unusually high for example because I couldn“t study for a few days, I study first tones, the readings, then definition and finally writings.

Thanks for the quick answer. You're right, that is one way to avoid the problem. I'm also getting used to typing while holding the pen so the problem might just solve itself :)

I just think mixing the study methods makes learning more interesting for me and would appreciate a feature like the one I mentioned.

I study the reading and the tones together. After that I switch to study the writing and definition together.

Works great for me.

sveitser, it already does group the reading prompts together as well as it can. It just doesn't do it very well. It's on my list eventually to rewrite that to work better. For doing a lot of reviews, I do the readings first with the temporary parts study, then switch over to writing.
