Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Server timeout errors

I'm getting the following error when trying to accessing Skritter.com from Safari or Chrome:

Server Timeout

If it doesn't do it automatically, try refreshing the page... It will probably work next time!

For some reason, I can access the site fine from within Twitter

Just seems to be the /home page that's timing out.

Looks like it's a problem with timeouts fetching the latest Twitter status. Maybe something to do with Twitter deciding to restrict API access. I've uploaded a fix to make it more robust to that. Thanks for the heads up.
