Differences between 偏 & 編?

In Skritter (the Japanese version, at least), the above two have different left sides despite looking identical in unicode. Why is that? (The one on the left is in Skritter as it seems like it would. The one on the right has the top line kind of pointed down.

What font are you using? Looking at the characters on the browser, they look different here.

I think weirdesky is referring the right hand sides of the two characters. Particularly, he doesn't like the first stroke of the right hand side of 編 as shown on the canvas, and wants it to look the same as that of 偏.

That's what I was talking about, yeah, pts. I also checked some other sites for how they're written (in Japanese). Here's two each: 編: http://www.jisho.org/kanji/details/編 and http://kakijun.main.jp/page/1583200.html ; 偏: http://www.jisho.org/kanji/details/偏 and http://kakijun.main.jp/page/1109200.html . Both of these have the right part as the same (in Skritter, the first one's right half's first stroke is pointed down). I wasn't sure whether to put it as a correction or not, so I put it on the forum.

Ah I see now. Yes, those should be submitted as stroke order corrections, because all tweaks to how the words are written are handled by George. I'll make sure he sees this forum post.

Hi Weirdesky, at first, I disagreed with your suggestion, mainly on the grounds that no set of fonts seem to support it. However, you show fairly convincing evidence that it should be written with a horizontal stroke rather than a simple dot. I've modified these two characters to have horizontal strokes first on the right sides.
