Skritter ipa for iPad 2 with iOS 5.0.1

MrNovember   November 23rd, 2013 2:48a.m.

Hello!

I'm evaluating Skritter (the latest from App store) on my iPhone with iOS 6.1.2 works OK, but quits when I'm trying to see the tutorial, so I've downloaded Skritter for my iPad (iOS 5.0.1) from App store - but it looks like it's not the version for iPad but for iPhone.
So, is there any way to get full screen Skritter for iPad with iOS 5?

What version did you end up getting? We haven't supported iOS 5.0.1 for a long, long time (since before we added iPad); I think 5.1 would get you Skritter 2.2.1, a version from June which is recent enough. Can you upgrade to iOS 5.1 or iOS 6 on your iPad?

If you could send me a crash log from your iPhone (nick@skritter.com), it would be super helpful to figure out what might be going wrong there.

Unfortunately, I've missed iOS 5.1&iOS6 updates for my iPad 2 and at the moment iOS7 is the only way, but it's so uncomfortable for me to use... So, will stay with 5.0.1.
For my iPhone 5 I have no crash logs for Skritter in Settings-About-Diagnostic Usage. Where can I find them to send to you?

Have you synced your iPhone with your computer? If so, you could try this: http://www.iphoneappdevelopment.com/?p=38

You could also try to skip past the tutorial on the iPhone by hitting the "Log In" instead of going for the tutorial, to see if it's just a problem with the tutorial. You can also create an account from there, or create one on the website and log into that from the iOS app.

ipad 1st generation   December 27th, 2013 1:51p.m.

I have a 1st generation iPad that I would like to run skritter on. Its running iOS 5.1, but skritter does not install as it says it needs "a newer version of iPad software". Any advice?

Thanks!

Let me know your email and I can add you to the TestFlight to get the old version of the app which supported 5.1.
