Trying to "unskip" sections from "skip sections"

Ormiss   May 24th, 2013 11:52a.m.

Hi!

Before my exams, I set two sections to "skip" using "change study settings". I then finished adding and reviewing all of the sections I needed for my exam. Now that my exam is done, I want to "unskip" these sections.

The problem is, when I go to "change study settings", whatever I do, I get an error saying "You need to be studying at least one part."

It might be relevant so I'll note that my list is "100%" right now since the only sections I haven't finished are being skipped.

I've tried changing "review" to "add". I've tried selecting different sections, including ones I'm done with. I've tried checking and unchecking different sections including the relevant ones. I even tried checking the "pause after each section" box. No matter what I do, I still get the same error.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Ormiss

You've done nothing wrong! This is a bug that stuck around for your list somehow. I've remixed the list and have it set to be adding which should fix the problem. It looks like you added a few more words to some other sections too, so the list will be adding from the first available section that has more of those new words in it. The progress indicator will catch up once the list has finished skipping past the words you've already studied and there are only new ones left.

I've seen this bug too, but forgot which list it affected; just so you know.

I just tried it out with several of my lists and it seems to be universal.

Thanks for the help Jeremy! :)

Same problem I was having - see the earlier thread "can't restart adding." I was able to restart adding on my iPhone instead.

Give it another shot--Scott has double-checked the fix he created last week and found that it hadn't been deployed to the live version, so it should be in there now.
