Rapid Literacy in Chinese

Nice to see that all but one of the lessons for "Rapid Literacy in Chinese" are now in the system, but why is Lesson 17 not there yet? Not that I'll need it any time soon.

Another Skritter user was helping input this list, but the list I got from her had the same words for Lesson 12 and Lesson 17. So I'm asking her which lesson they should go into and what the words are for the other section.

Thanks. If she doesn't reply I have the book and can give you a few characters from each. I'm in no rush, though to use the higher lessons. I'm just finishing Lesson 2.

Just looked at the book. Lesson 12 is correct. Lesson 17 begins: lin1, wei4,wei2. The first two words are wei4 le and wei4 shen2 me.

I'm thinking of making a list for "Chinese Language and Culture", so if someone is already working on it I will hold back. The book is intermediate level reading and includes lots of grammar and explanations for each of the readings. Most everything is in simplified and traditional and English when necessary. The grammar seems to be mostly about function words.

Okay, cool. If I don't hear back in a few days, perhaps you can remix the list, add in section 17's words, and let me know so I can get those in there.

That would be fine.

Forgive me if I'm not familiar with the textbook list compiling process, but I can just send you a Chapter by Chapter list of all of the vocabulary in my book (just Chinese characters) and that's it? I have a textbook that's not in the textbook list ("Road to Success" Elementary 3), and would be happy to comb through it one day and send you that list. Anything else you need? Special format or anything?

nick   September 18th, 2011 11:22a.m.

That would work, although it seems that it would be just as easy for you to type it into our list editor as it would be to type it into a spreadsheet or text file to send to me. I'm happy to do it either way, though.

Dennis, she's on it for Lesson 17.
