Unlearned words

Is there any way to see the number of words/ characters that are added to "my words" but not yet marked as "learned"?

Just look at your progress > total (web app), the difference between added and learnt is what you are looking for.

Roland, thanks a lot. That´s exactly what I was looking for. Somehow, I did´t realise this button was there...

How have I learned more than I have added? 奇怪

俞翰森   October 6th, 2013 10:42p.m.

Happens to me frequently as well. Seems to be when you study on both IOS and web versions. Usually small deviations. Just do a recalculation (Progress\total\recalculate) and you will have 100% accurate stats again.

Ah, Thanks!

Do I have to use the beta site to recalculate ?

俞翰森   October 7th, 2013 4:32a.m.

No, not anymore I think. I am not a beta tester anymore and I have it. Go to "progress". Click on the totals button in the upper right corner and in that popup there should be a link in the lower part saying "Recalculate". Click on that and wait for some 2 minutes. You will get a mail with your stats before and after the recalculation.

This setting is a bit funky; it's not actually about whether you're on the beta site but whether you've marked yourself as a "beta tester" in the general account settings on the website. It's the only thing that works like that instead of just based on whether you're on beta.skritter.com or www.skritter.com. Kind of buggy, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it.

So if you want to use the progress recalculator, mark yourself as a beta tester, and then it will show up in that progress totals popup. It will introduce local discontinuities in your stats which will cause slightly strange things to happen, so be warned.
