Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Frequent interruptions

Hi- For several days now, just after completing a character, the site will reboot, and take me directly back to studying the same list (without new login). It really slows things down as the characters get repeated several times. The list is HSK 5, and the problem seems to occur with specific characters. This happens on different computers, using different modems. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks

Weird - I haven't seen anything like that, but I also haven't been studying that list.

I've been studying that list for a while (almost finished) and I haven't had that problem. So I don't think it's an inherent problem with the list or words.

Are you on Safari 5.1? There's a bug with that browser that can cause this to happen, for which there is no workaround yet. (It's not a bug with our site, but with the browser itself.)

Otherwise, are you on Internet Explorer? There was one report of that lately, but I am not sure what's happening there. It might be something we can fix by working together to figure it out.

I have not heard of this for Firefox or Chrome.

Let me know what browser you're on, and which characters it's doing this for.
