How do I best make a temporary list?

If there are words that I want to cram, but I want to later have the words removed from my studies indefinitely, what is the best way to approach this? I would like to make a list, study it, and then keep it in reserve, but suspend the words unique to that list from appearing even when I "Study All My Words."

I think after you're done studying that custom list you have to ban all the words in it. Then you won't ever see them when you "Study All My Words," although the list will still exist and if you ever wanted to study them again you can unban them.

Don't ban all the words in it--just remove the list from your studies, and the words only added from that list will be deactivated.

Alternatively, if you want to study it periodically but not have the words in My Words, you can save it as a text string somewhere else and just put it into the scratchpad (with progress tracking off) whenever you want to study it.

Ah, I didn't know it would deactivate the words if you removed the list, that's pretty cool.
