Am I messing up my reviews?

So, for school I basically have to switch between different textbooks, with the newest one being in simplified. Since it's in simplified, whenever I cram for that textbook's chapter I just switch the entire setting to simplified and then switch back to traditional when I'm studying for my other textbooks. I usually click "no" to the option asking if I want all the lists to redo, but I'm wondering if switching back and forth between these two options messes up my reviews?

I know I can just set it to both, but I don't want to spend time learning both when I have quizzes so frequently.

If I'm correct, whenever you switch from simplified to traditional and the other way around, all you are doing is switching the mode in which characters will be added. If you need to study both, I suggest leaving them both checked all the time, which is what I do and I haven't had any problems.

As long as you study only the one textbook list when set to simplified, and only the others when set to traditional, there won't be any problems. You would watch out for adding words from your simplified textbook (along with your other textbooks) while in traditional mode, though--gotta make sure you're not adding words from that list then.

Great, thanks to you both!
