Multiple iOS devices showing unusual behavior

goobybear   June 23rd, 2012 9:43p.m.

Just want to report an observation. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing something similar. Maybe some algorithm tuning is needed.

I logged in via a second iOS device and skrittered about 20 minutes. The adding new word balloon showed up quite a lot but I don't recall any new words being introduced. I then logged out by clearing local data.

I logged into the first iOS device that I usually use and was hit immediately with about 15 new words in a row and then 5 or so more soon after that. I don't recall seeing the adding new word balloon during this period. I don't know whether this is expected behavior but it seems unusual to me. BTW I was online the entire time and did not manually add any words.

I've experienced the same thing

I think this is related to some issues syncing has been having. Version 1.0.3 will have some tweaks and diagnostic tools to try and get that fixed. Ninja adding like that shouldn't happen anymore, at least.

What do either of them say on the data status screen, which you can get to through the account settings screen?
